Darrell Holmes Obituary

He was born on September 27, 1958 in Sheridan, MI. Darrell graduated in 1976 from Vestaburg High School where he served as president of the student council and received awards for wrestling, both MVP and State Runner-up.
He is survived by his wife Ruthie (Powell) whom he married in 1983, as well as his daughters Diandra (Alyssa) Holmes, Raeanne (Adam) Mundy, siblings Mitchell (Valorie) Holmes, Brenda (Terry) Daglow, Gerald Holmes Jr., Kail (Rachel) Holmes, Michael (Rosmary) Holmes, and Sharla (Mike) Fisher, grandchildren Leyli Holmes, Phoenix Mundy, Apollo Mundy, and Jeriah Mundy, and all his beloved nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
Darrell was preceded in death by his parents Gerald Lee and Wilda Mae (Jenkins) Holmes and his infant daughters Desiree Lyn and Dara Renee.
Memorial services will be held on December 13, 2024
at 12 PM at Missionary Restoration Branch located at 3415 Elsea Smith Rd, Buckner, MO, 64016. His favorite flowers were Lilies. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the GoFundMe under his name.
