Darrell Leon Holschuh, 78, of South Point, OH, passed away on August 15, 2025. Darrell was born on July 12, 1947. He is survived by his son Mark Holschuh; brother Keith Holschuh; sister-in-law, Pinkie Holschuh; grandchildren, Ashley Sorenson, Darik Holschuh, Taylor Carnes, Jacob Holschuh, Mykenna Grider; great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Darrell was the oldest of four children, and he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Holschuh; two children, Tony Holschuh and Kandy Holschuh; two brothers, Michael Holschuh, and Randy Holschuh; a granddaughter, Brea Holschuh; and his parents, Leonard and Ireen Holschuh. Darrell grew up on a farm in Willow Wood, Ohio, and graduated from The Dawson Bryant High School. Darrell served in the military as a private 1st class for the United States Army from 1967 through 1969, and he was awarded the "National Defense Service Medal" and a Marksman M-14. After his service to his country, he worked for Ironton Iron Incorporated, worked on a dairy farm, and drove a tractor-trailer for Swift before retiring. Darrell also served as the pastor of Flag Springs Baptist Church in Waterloo, Ohio. No services will be held.
