It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Darrell Wayne Hubbard on October 29, 2025, at the age of 79. Born on December 2, 1945, Darrell was a beloved husband to Virginia Hubbard and a friend to many.
Darrell was known for his warm smile, infectious laughter, and a spirit that could light up any room. He had a great love for working on cars and watching car racing on weekends. He was a dedicated employee for Stempco in Longview, Texas for 30 plus years.
Darrell is survived by his wife Virginia, daughters Karla McCain and Marla Sawyer, stepchildren Cassandra May and Kenneth Nichols, sister Annette Isaac and husband Billy, 3 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his sisters Sharon Stroman and Dale Lyles.
In honor of Darrell's life, a funeral service will take place on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Croley Funeral Home in Diana, Texas, at 2pm with a visitation at 1pm prior to the service. Interment to follow at Walnut Creek Cemetery in Diana.
