Darrell is survived by his soulmate of 15 years, Robbie Hunt; aunt and uncle: Brenda and Dickie Shore; and many more loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends at 12:00 p.m. with a service to be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3, in the chapel of Bass Cauthen Funeral Home with Preacher James Hunt presiding. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park - Cherry Road.

I remember walking in to the Lab first day.. 1996. I called him D Darrell, he was always smartly dressed and smiling. We used to go to an outdoor building we named " The love Shack" to get supplies out of. I made a friend forever. Robbie Hunt Thank you for keeping a smile on his face and so much love in hi s heart! Bless him....
