Darrell Randolph Lester

Darrell Randolph Lester, age 68, of Raven, Virginia, passed away Monday, September 11, 2023 in a Bristol, Tennessee hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the son of the late Carl Homer Lester and Cordie Mae Asbury Lester.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a retired coal miner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandchild, Brandon Skiles; sister, Brenda Lester; and three brothers, Bill, Don, and Roger Lester.

Brothers: Danny Lester and wife, Judy; and Lonzo Lester and wife, Diane
Grandchildren: Justin Lairby, McKenzie Eddins, Trey Putnam, Luke Putnam, Hailey Kinder, Kaitlyn Mullins, Madison Mullins, and Brianna Mullins
Great Grandchildren: Piper Kinder and Oaklynn Kinder and Two More on the Way.
Funeral services for Darrell Randolph Lester will be conducted Friday, September 15, 2023 at 12pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Jeff Kinder officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may visit from 11am until 12pm on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
