Darrell Franklin Mullis, Sr., 60, of Macon, Georgia, entered his heavenly home on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Born on September 13, 1965, in Macon to the late Calvin Eugene and Emma Lou Mullis, Darrell lived a life filled with love, laughter, and music - a true reflection of his generous heart and joyful spirit.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at New Elim Baptist Church, with Pastor Johnny Baggett officiating. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 21, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at FairHaven Funeral Home.

Darrell was a man of many talents - a true jack of all trades who could fix just about anything. He loved the outdoors, spending countless peaceful hours fishing and hunting. His passion for music was evident to all who knew him; he especially loved bluegrass and was gifted on the dobro and drums.

More than anything, Darrell cherished his time with family and friends. His greatest joy came from being surrounded by the people he loved, sharing stories, laughter, and music. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and faithful friend.

Darrell was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Deidra Mullis. He is survived by his loving wife, Rebecca Mullis; his sons, Joshua Wesley Roberson, Darrell Franklin Mullis, Jr., and Bo Mackenzie Mullis; his daughters, Kayla Gordon (Brent), Kelly Loren King (Brent), and Elizabeth Anna Short (Brandon); his brothers, Michael Lee Mullis (Ann) and Faron Eugene Mullis; several cherished grandchildren; and his stepfather, Peyton Odell Rozier.

A faithful member of New Elim Baptist Church, Darrell's legacy will live on through the love he shared, the songs he played, and the memories he created with all who were blessed to know him. His hands were skilled, his heart was kind, and his spirit will continue to inspire those he leaves behind.
