Darrell Edward Shuptrine of Little Italy, AR went peacefully to be with our lord, on April 9, 2023. He was born on October 6, 1948, in Texarkana, AR to the late Robert and Pearl Shuptrine.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Bobbie Holley and two brothers, Ronnie Shuptrine and Henry Shuptrine.
Darrell is survived by his wife of 40 years, Debra and three sons, Chris Shuptrine and wife Anita of Little Italy, Matt Shuptrine and Katie of Cabot, Nathan Shuptrine of Bryant; and one daughter, Keri Reinhold and husband Tab of Sherwood; two grandsons, Dylan Shuptrine and girlfriend Kyra Beene and Luke Shuptrine; three granddaughters, Hannah Shuptrine, Claire Shuptrine and Alyx Reinhold.
Anyone that knew Darrell knows he was a “Good Ole Country Boy”. He was a proud Marine and never passed up a chance to reminisce about his time in the service. “Semper Fi”.
Darrell also loved hunting, camping, gardening, the beach, and anything outdoors. He loved his family and was happiest spending time with them and always had a dog or two in his lap. He also retired from the printing business, where he worked as a press operator.
A visitation will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct., Little Rock, AR followed by funeral services at 12:00 pm. Burial to follow at Hope Cemetery Perryville, AR.
