Billie "Bill" Shuptrine
February 5, 1929 - May 10, 2023
CMSgt Billie "Bill" Shuptrine, USAF, Ret. passed away May 10, 2023, at the age of 94. He was born in Paris, Texas to Regan Shuptrine and Sarah Laura Tubbs on February 5, 1929.
He is preceded by his parents; two brothers; Aubrey Shuptrine and James Shuptrine; grandson, Matthew Thomas; daughter-in-law, Sherry Shuptrine and his first wife Charline Shuptrine.
Bill is survived by his wife Mary Ruth Shuptrine; sons Charles R. Shuptrine and Robert E. Shuptrine and his wife Rhonda Shuptrine; his daughter Catherine S. Thomas. He is also survived by stepchildren, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at McCurdy Funeral Home from 4-7PM on Sunday, June 4th. Graveside service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023, at 2PM with full military honors at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to a charity of your choice.
