Darrell Smith Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Powell Funeral Home of Bradford on Jun. 25, 2024.
Darrell was a devoted husband of 35 1/2 years, and a loving father.
He worked hard to provide for his family who he loved more than anything. If any of the kids had a problem with their vehicle-they called Papa; if they needed money, or advice-they called Papa. He made sure they were all taken care of. He was a dedicated and loyal employee of Wal-Mart for 39 1/2 years and made some really good friends throughout his time there.
Darrell was an avid History Buff. He loved anything to do with family ancestry. Darrell was also very knowledgeable about movies-he could tell you when it was made, and who starred in it. John Deere tractors were a passion of his. His favorite thing to talk about was his grandkids and great-grandson. He loved them and showed them how much they all meant to him.
He will be missed by us all!
