Darrell Adolph Wesley

Darrell Adolph Wesley of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, September 5th, 2024, at the age of 65. He was born on September 27th, 1958, to Robert Aldoph and Hazel (Anderson) Wesley. Throughout his life, Darrell worked at OK Foods, Wortz Biscuit Company, and the General Pallet Company. He enjoyed watching television, especially western and thriller movies, and found great entertainment in wrestling. Darrell was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Smith until covid and then joined the Glad Tidings Worship Center. He was known as a quiet, kind, and gentle soul who was always willing to lend a helping hand, and he will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. Darrell is survived by his brother, Robert D. Wesley and his wife Fanny of Fort Smith, Arkansas; sisters, Cheryl Patterson of Corinth, Texas, Marjorie Enoch and Carolyn Belt both of Fort Smith, Arkansas; as well as a large circle of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Hazel Wesley; sister, Doris Johnson; and his brothers-in-laws, James Johnson, Prince Patterson, and Freddie Enoch. A visitation service will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 14th, 2024, at the River Glenn Chapel, located at 1805 North A Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas. The funeral service, officiated by Reverend David Redding, will be immediately following the visitation at the River Glenn Chapel. Services are under the thoughtful care of River Glenn Cremation and Funeral Services.
