Darren Bouchard Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lawry Brothers Funeral Home - Fairfield on Jul. 26, 2023.
Albion - Darren Anthony Bouchard, 54, passed away unexpectedly on July 18th.
Darren was born in Waterville on December 6, 1968. The son of Roland and Barbara (Roderick) Bouchard. He attended school at Waterville Senior High School. Darren started his career at Scott Paper Company and from there he entered the heating and plumbing profession; he started at Chase Fuel and ended his heating and plumbing career at Augusta Fuel Company with many companies in between.
Darren enjoyed many things; however, hunting, fishing, music, and sports were some of his favorite things. He was a diehard Cowboys fan and of course loved the Bruins and Red Sox's. Darren also played many years of men's league hockey at Sukee arena. He was a little league coach for eight years which included a Minor League State Championship, that year was even more special as he coached his son on that team. Darren always liked to play cribbage and backgammon on his phone and could do this for hours along with hidden object games, he always knew the best ones to play.
Darren was predeceased by his mother Barbara Anne Bouchard; his sisters Kimberly Pottle and Johna Jason; and his daughter Brianna Bouchard.
Darren will be sadly missed by his father Roland Bouchard of Waterville; daughter Brittany Bouchard and partner Bradley Richardson and grandson Rhett Richardson of Winslow; son Tyler Bouchard and wife Alyssa and soon to be grandchild of Sidney; sister Michele Sucy of Waterville; brother Shane Bouchard and wife Amy of Virginia Beach; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and beloved family and friends.
There will be a graveside service August 10th at 10 a.m. at Saint Francis Cemetery, 78 Grove St. in Waterville, followed by a Celebration of life at Obrien's in Waterville.
Donations can be made in his name to the Cal Ripken Baseball program through the Alfond Youth Center.
