St. Agatha, ME and Naples, FL---Doran Lionel Bouchard, age 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 22 at The Aroostook House of Comfort in Presque Isle, Maine. Born May 15, 1943, in Madawaska, Maine.
He was a man defined by his unwavering work ethic, commitment to family and quiet strength. He was a Meat Cutter/ Butcher by trade but wore many entrepreneurial hats over the years. Village Pizza, Doran’s Family meat center and the Clam Digger Restaurant to name a few. Most recently he and his wife Patsy enjoyed Real estate development and sales in Florida.
Beyond his professional life, Doran was a devoted family man. He cherished his role as husband to Patsy and loving father to Lori, Ellis and wife Cindy and Christopher and wife Lucinda. His legacy lives on in the values of hard work and integrity he instilled in his children. He enjoyed his off-time hunting in the Allagash of northern Maine and fishing on Long lake.
He is survived by his loving wife Patsy of St. Agatha; three children, Lori Roy of Lebanon, NH, Ellis Bouchard and his wife Cindy of Vero Beach, FL and Christopher Bouchard and his wife Lucinda of cape coral, FL; five grandchildren, Zachary, Jordan, DeeAnna, Colin, Doran; four great-grand Children, Leah, Doran, Bryson and Weston. Brother, Dathan and Brother-in-law Heldon.
He was predeceased by his grandson, Houston.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the St. Louis Church in Fort Kent. Relatives and friends may offer their condolences, from 5 to 8pm on Monday, March 2, 2026, and from 9am until 9:45am on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 before the Mass at Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
