We mournfully announce the passing of Darren C. Dominguez, 50, of Fort Stockton, Texas. Darren was known to many of us as “Sugar Cub” or “Rawhide”. Darren passed away on August 12, 2023, in Fort Stockton, Texas.
Visitation will be Monday, August 21st, 2023, from 12:00PM – 7:00PM at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend 301 N. Main St. Fort Stockton, Texas 79735. Rosary will be recited Monday, August 21st, 2023, at 7:00PM also at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 22nd, 2023, at 10:00AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church 403 S. Main St. Fort Stockton, Texas 79735 with Father Francis Njoku officiating.
Darren was born to Frank and Margaret Dominguez on May 2nd, 1973, in Fort Stockton, Texas. After graduating high school in 1991, Darren pursued a career in the oil field and recently worked for Advanced Bio Catalytics. Darren enjoyed hunting, ranch work, and barbequing with family and friends.
Darren is preceded in death by his mother Margaret Dominguez, brother Eddie Gilbert Dominguez, grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Darren is survived by his father Frank Dominguez, children Emilio Primera, Lauren Dominguez and Colton Mercado, brother Orlando Dominguez and sister Cynthia D. (Paul) Rubio as well as numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
The Dominguez family would like to extend their most sincere thanks to Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Father Francis Njoku, family and friends for all your support during this difficult time.
