DARREN GRAYSON, affectionately known to friends and family as “D,” was born on September 29, 1969, in Dallas, Texas. A dedicated employee of BlueStar, Darren forged a successful career characterized by his relentless work ethic and ambition. He was not only admired in his professional life but also cherished as a devoted father to his three children, who were among his proudest accomplishments.
Darren's love for music was a defining aspect of his legacy. A prolific rapper, he found joy in creating and sharing his musical talents. His passion for music was intertwined with his faith; he was a man of God whose Christian values were evident in every facet of his life. He had an extraordinary sense of humor that brought light and laughter to those around him.
An educated man, Darren attended Thomas Jefferson, where he cultivated the intelligence and ambition that would steer him through life’s many challenges. Born and raised in Dallas, he remained a proud member of the community throughout his life.
Darren's life journey came to a close on July 8, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, where he was surrounded by the spirit of his cherished hometown. He will forever be remembered for the love he had for his mother, who he described as his first love, and the legacy he leaves behind through his children.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the viewing, which will be held on July 23, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. Following this, a funeral service will take place on July 24, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM at the same location, concluding at 2:00 PM.
As we reflect on Darren's life, we celebrate his contributions, his love for music, his deep faith, and the legacy of laughter, hard work, and familial devotion that he leaves behind.
