Darren Brett Miller of Belton, Missouri passed away August 11,2025 in Belton. He was born on April 19,1977 in Kansas City, Missouri to the Union of Johnny and Cynthia Miller. He is preceded in transition by his Stepmother Rebecca Miller, and Nephew Austin Long, and Grandma Helen Simons, and Grandpa Edwin Miller. Darren loved his family and often picked up family members to make sure the whole family was at gatherings. A budding Chef, He was good at basketball and volleyball, competitive at sports, was talented at drawing, a funny storyteller who was good at joking around with us and making us laugh, He was a hardcore Chiefs, Royals, and MU Tigers fan in good times and bad, good at ASL, confident in himself and his LORD & loved GOD and had a relationship with him. Tried his best everyday to live by the word and better himself. Darren leaves behind his Dad Johnny M Miller, His Mom Cynthia and Earl Spence, His Brothers Steve Miller, Kenny Shumate, Earl Jr and Shane Spence and Brother-in-Law Larry Long, and Jason Smith. His Sisters Kristine Long, Cathy & Connie Shumate, Leslie Smith, and Sisters- In- Law: Tracy Shumate, Meredith Spence. His Nephews Anthony, Dusty, Sebastian, Kole, Jeremiah, Jake and Max and his Nieces: Kierstin, Paige, Jillian, Gaby, Aria. A host of Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and many old friends who call him their Brother. Darren shall be truly missed by all who knew him. Funeral Services were held: Sunday, August 17, 2025.
