Born on January 18, 1967, in Ridley, Pennsylvania, Darren was the son of Frieda Helmuth Barnitz and the late Elmer "Skip" LeRoy Walbridge.
Darren spent his career as a skilled machinist at Geitz Tool and Die, specializing in metal fabrication. Darren was also a passionate musician, known for his talent as a drummer, and he was a devoted fan of all Philadelphia sports teams.
Darren is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Darren Walbridge, Jr. and Ian "Chuckie" Walbridge (Jessica); his grandchildren, Cameron Tyciak, Connor Tyciak, and Grayson Walbridge; his brothers, Dean Walbridge and David Walbridge; and his mother, Frieda Barnitz, and her husband, Joseph. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer "Skip" Walbridge.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Donations may be made in his memory to UBACE (Upper Bucks Alliance for Creative Expression) at www.ubace.org.
