Francis Joseph "Frank" Walbridge

Francis "Frank" Joseph Walbridge was born as the youngest sibling on December 27th, 1967. He

grieved the loss of his father (Peter) from a young age, but went on to graduate from Pinckney High

School in 1985 under the guidance of his mother (Martha) and his five siblings (Martha, Pete, Steve,

Colleen, and Tom).

In the years before his death, Frank was passionate about his sobriety and participating in court

programs to get back on the right track. He attended meetings weekly, sometimes twice a week, and

always came home with stories and updates about his buddies in recovery. Through sobriety, Frank was

able to turn over a new leaf in life and truly start over, working at Pop Daddy's Snacks dutifully while

applying for jobs in his field of waste water treatment.

Frank cared very deeply for his family and spent much of his free time with his domestic partner

(Beth), and his two children (Jack and Sydney.) He also had a soft spot for animals that only grew over

time. In the summer months, you could find him walking with Beth at local state parks-with their 200lb

dog, Sumo, always in attendance. If he was not outside at a park, he was outside at the barn where his

daughter's horse is kept. Chances are, if you were running an errand and Frank was around, he'd be

happy to go with you just to have some company.

Frank passed away in the early morning of February 8th, 2026. He died in a car accident. There

were no additional lives lost in the accident. He is survived by his domestic partner (Beth), two children

(Jack and Sydney), and his three siblings (Steve, Martha, and Colleen.) He was fifty-eight years old.
