Funeral Services for Darris Nash are Monday, February 19, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and Monday 11 a.m. until service time. Interment is at Olive Branch Cemetery, Como, TN. Brother James Hazlewood is the officiant and Marco Taaffe, Connor Viana, Blake Cantrell, Chris Singleton, Flynn Watson and Damon Nash are pallbearers.
Mr. Nash, 95 years old died at AHC Union City on Tuesday, February 15, 2024. He is a member of Bethel Baptist Church, a retired heavy equipment operator for Replogle Lumber and Garland Ellis, and a yard man, mowing several yards every summer. He was born in Henry Co. on July 19, 1928 to Lossie and Lindy Douglas Nash.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years Annette Moore Nash, a daughter Jane (Joe Pat) Moody of Buchanan, two sons Ricky (Linda) Nash of Paris and Steve Cantrell of Jackson, three grandchildren Damon Nash, Kim Watson and Blake Cantrell and five great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a twin brother Douglas Nash and a brother Joe Smith.
