Small man carrying a huge pipe climbing up ladders into holes he definitely shouldn't fit in, that was our dad! He was so proud of the work he did we couldn't enter a hospital without being told and shown I did that! After his son graduated high school he was brought on to learn the trade- its not for everybody. But it was for him he loved what he did so much that he returned to school in his 50s got himself a business license he began accepting jobs given to him by the Union hired his son in law Taylor Bentley and away he went. Darryl and Colleen were together 9 years before marrying one another on October 1, 2010.

Tammy lit a spark in his heart this was a new kind of love he didn't know existed she meant the world to him! Darryl would welcome five more grandchildren between 2015 and 2021 each one filling his heart more than the last. He was surrounded by grandchildren and loved the time he got to spend with them all!
