In Loving Memory of Darryl Spawr November 8, 1966 – August 8, 2025
With deep love and profound sadness, the Spawr family announces the passing of our beloved Darryl Spawr on August 8, 2025. Born on November 8, 1966, Darryl lived a life that was truly larger than life-filled with adventure, kindness, humor, and a deep devotion to his family and friends.
Darryl grew up in Corona, California, where he developed his strong work ethic, love for hands-on projects, and a sense of loyalty that would carry throughout his life. He later made his home in
Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where he spent the past 35 years building a life surrounded by the people and places he loved most. Known to many in the community, Darryl worked as a skilled technician, always ready to lend his expertise to solve a problem or help a neighbor.
Family was at the center of Darryl's world. He was a proud and loving father, a caring brother, a devoted son, and a fun-loving uncle whose playful spirit and steady guidance touched his nieces and nephews in countless ways. His children were his greatest joy, and he delighted in sharing life's moments with them-whether that meant working together on a project, enjoying the outdoors, or simply making them laugh with his quick wit.
Darryl had a passion for living life to the fullest. He loved the freedom of the open road on his Harley, the thrill of boating on the lake, and the peace of camping under the stars. These adventures were more than hobbies-they were opportunities for him to connect with family and friends, to embrace nature, and to create memories that will be treasured forever.
Darryl's life was a journey that took him through challenges, victories, and countless cherished moments. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome and valued, whether they had known him for years or had just met. His sense of humor could light up the darkest of days, and his kindness left a lasting imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
For our family, this marks the end of a long and meaningful journey-one we were blessed to walk alongside him. Though our hearts ache with loss, we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace.
Heaven has truly gained an angel, and the legacy he leaves behind will continue to inspire us for years to come.
Darryl is survived by his son Dane Spawr of Los Angels, Ca, Daughter Hannah Spawr of Scottsdale, AZ, His father Walter Spawr and Stepmom Gail Spawr, his 2 sisters Becky Goldberg of Lake Havasu and Tina Otto and brother-in-Law Josh Otto of Washington Ut, his nieces and nephews Christopher Goldberg, Alex Lamb (Gatlin and children), Brittany Pajuluoma (Kal), Lucas Otto (Hannah and family), and many extended family members and friends who will carry his spirit forward. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Spawr, and by other loved ones who now welcome him into eternal rest.
