Darryl E. Taman

Darryl (Ted Nugent) E. Taman, 62, of Remsen, died on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Rome Hospital.
He was born on March 18, 1962, a son of the late Donald E. and Jeanne E. Rogers Taman and graduated from Paul Smith College. He married the former Kerry Finn. Darryl worked as a surveyor for New York State and more recently worked in the building trades. Darryl enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing softball. He also looked forward to getting together with his college buddies.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kerry; best friend Ted; brother, Michael Taman and his wife, Donna; many brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his two dogs and cat. He was predeceased by his two sisters, Eileen and Dorothy and a brother, Donny.
Please think of my little brother walking out of a Iowa cornfield and stepping onto the best baseball field your ever saw. Little brother this is Heaven.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral and Cremation Services, 13 Oxford Rd., New Hartford.
