Darwin B. "Butch", "Pony", Klock, Jr., aged 81, of Sunbury, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center.

Darwin was born, April 26, 1944, in Trevorton, the first born to Louise Klock of Sunbury and the late Darwin Bruce "Doc" "Ears" Klock, Sr. He was pre-deceased by his first wife, Judi (Anderson) Miller. On September 18, 1976, he married Cynthia Lou (Yerger) Klock, just reaching 49 years of love and memories.

Darwin was a truck dispatcher and retired from Wood Mode in 2010, at the age of 66. He was a member of the Catawissa United Methodist Church, Sunbury, Sunbury Revitalization, Sunbury Municipal Parks & Recreation, Sunbury Social Club, Rescue Hose Company, and the Middleburg Moose Lodge #1229, among others.

Darwin was also an avid hunter, and lover of softball. Just days before his passing, the ball field in the Hamilton section of Sunbury, was dedicated and named in his honor for his 50+ years of time, care, and dedication to maintaining the field, for games and events held there, over the years. The field will forever be known as the "Darwin "Pony" Klock Field at Hamilton,".

In addition to his wife, Cindy, he is survived by his children, Michelle of NM, Angela of New Columbia, David (Bobbie) of Northumberland, Joseph of NYC and Matthew (Marilee) of Dornsife. He has 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren also brothers, Irwin, Thomas, and a sister, Gail.

Preceding him in death, besides his father, and first wife, was a daughter, Denise, in infancy, brother Edward, grandson, Richard and great granddaughter, Alexis.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 24, from 4:00 PM - 7:00PM at the Zweier Funeral Home, 157 Chestnut Street, Sunbury, where a short service will be held at 7:00pm hosted by Jon Yerger.

Donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
