Daryl Eugene Dreyer, born to Richard and Margaret (Nadobny) Dreyer on January 29, 1956, passed away peacefully in his home in Rushville, NE on March 29, 2025. He was baptized into the Christian faith.

He spent his early years on the family farm, playing and learning to work with his six siblings. Adventures abounded with his side-kick, Wayne-whether climbing to the top of the windmill, or falling into the stock tank.

He attended grade school at Banner school, Hay Springs. He then attended high school in Rushville with many of his Dreyer cousins, graduating in 1974.

Daryl moved to the family farm to engage in the dairy operation. He then worked various construction and trucking jobs.

In 1989, he married Vicki Musfelt, loving her daughters Wendy, Terri, Jeannie, Andrea and Marlena as his own. He later adopted Andrea and Marlena.

Daryl was a hard worker while mentoring and teaching others repairing irrigation pumps for as long as he was able. He enjoyed playing games, especially shooting pool, while visiting with his many friends sharing his snarky humor.

His greatest joy in life were his daughters and grandchildren.

Daryl was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, Irene, sister Eileen Riggs, brother Wayne and nephews Mike and Danny Dreyer.

Left to mourn are daughters Andrea Dreyer and children Angel, Alexis, Addison, and Adam; Marlena (Justin) Amende and Children Taya and Otto; Wendy (Ben) Burton and children Brandon, Dylan, and Chelsea; Terri (Rob) Rosane and children Rebecca and Wyatt; Jeannie (Lewis) O’Donnell and children Eric, Karley, Joe-Lewis, and Katie; siblings Ron (Marie) Dreyer, John (Judi) Dreyer, and Joe Dreyer and Trudy (Scott) Harris; Uncle John and Aunt Loreen Nadobny; and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
