Daryl R. Fiene Sr., passed away peacefully at home on May 12, 2025, at the age of 75. Daryl was a loving husband to Shirley for 35 years. He was a dear father to Daryl Jr. (Allison) Fiene, Mike (Jenni) Fiene, Patty (Dale) Fiene-Bormann, Korena Schneider (Thomas Gies), Michalle Schneider (Andrew Devlyn), and John (Amanda) Schneider. Grandpa "papa" of 11. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred Fiene and Marion Kubow, his sister Denise, his auntie and uncle Eileen and Paul Boyce.
Daryl graduated from John Marshall High School. After graduation, he embarked on a career with the City of Brookfield, where he devoted 35 years of faithful service. Daryl was a longtime resident of Lannon. He was a dedicated firefighter and EMT in Lannon for 17 years. He also served on the Lannon Village Board and Planning Commission for two terms, always striving to make his community a better place.
Daryl's love for life shone brightly through his interests. At Hales Corners and Slinger Speedway, he was a well-known race car driver, driving under the number 43, as he frequently found his way to the winner's circle. His passion for automobiles didn't stop at the track; he was an active member of the Wisconsin Street Rods for many years, taking great pride in his T-Bucket and '55 Chevy.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16 at Harder Funeral Home, 18700 W. Capitol Drive, from 4 PM until time of Service at 6 PM.
