Daryl Finch Obituary
Haydenville, MA - Daryl E. "Buster" Finch Jr., 70, of Haydenville, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday January 3, 2023. He was born in Northampton on December 7, 1952, to the late Daryl Finch Sr. and June (Asher) Sporbert.
He attended schools in Williamsburg and was a graduate of Hampshire Regional High School. Buster went on and had worked various jobs throughout his life. Before retirement, he had worked as a mechanic for C & S in Westfield. He enjoyed rummaging through tag sales, looking for the most unique finds, he was also a collector of art. Buster loved the outdoors, where he was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He is survived by his sisters, Diane Elliott and her husband Chuck of Northampton, Veronica Szpila of Holyoke, Vickie Boyer of Haydenville, and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, whom he missed dearly, he was forever saddened by the loss of his faithful companion, his dog "Mr. Riley" who passed away a few years ago.
There will be a graveside service in the Spring at St. Mary's of Assumption Cemetery in Haydenville. DROZDAL FUNERAL HOME of Northampton has been entrusted with his services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society, PO Box 6307, Springfield, MA 01101.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Buster was a regular visitor on our land on the Connecticut River, either stopping by after fishing and then sharing whatever he had brought to eat, contributing to the spread we always had available for dinner. He also stopped by our house regularly to visit with my husband Paul, before he died last year. He will be missed.
