Daryl Tustison

Daryl Tustison, 78, of Pleasant Valley, Missouri, passed away peacefully at his home on October 26, 2025, surrounded by family.

Mr. Tustison was born on October 30, 1946, in Alameda, California, to Robert and Rita (Fowler) Tustison. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam era. Following his military service, he worked in several trades and spent most of his career as a welder with Harlan Corporation and Acme Products, retiring in 2009.

Daryl was known for his friendly nature, love of storytelling and many hobbies. He enjoyed visiting with friends at Ma & Pa's Diner in Claycomo, making homemade fudge for family and friends, and working on carpentry projects around his home. He also enjoyed classical music, old Westerns, science fiction films, and time spent with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents; five brothers, Jimmy, Mark, Mike, Cecil, and Robert; and his son, Timmy.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Linda; sons, Daryl Jr. (Tiffany) and Jesse (Sarah); four grandchildren, Tyler, Deaven, Sierra, and Quentin; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the First Presbyterian Church of Liberty, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. A private graveside service with military honors will follow at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
