Darrell Peters Obituary
Darrell Dean Peters, age 90, passed away February 15, 2026 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was born October 26,1935 in rural south Cameron, Mo., to Charles and Jessie Peters.
After serving in the United States Air Force, he met Geneva. They were married 55 years. Darrell retired from TWA after 52 years, then he enjoyed going to auctions, spending time with his grandkids and tinkering in the garage.
He leaves behind one son, Darrell Dean Peters of Calif.; three step-daughters, Diane Simons of Kearney, Mo., Virginia Mustion of Kearney, Mo., and Linda (Bob) West of Ark.; one step-son, Rick Nichols of Texas; 19 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and a great great granddaughter due in June.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Peters; two step-sons, Larry and Rodger Nichols; grandson, Craig Nichols; granddaughter, Jenny Finley; and brother, Donald Peters.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, February 19, 2026 followed by service at 11 a.m. at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney, Mo. Burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Kearney, Mo.
