Daryn Hanson

Daryn Hanson, 59 of Morganville, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, with his family and friends by his side.
Born in Long Branch, NJ, he lived in Morganville, for 30 years.
Mr. Hanson began his educational career at the William McGinnis School in Perth Amboy as a middle school bilingual teacher. He was also an administrator for the WIA program that mentored Perth Amboy High School Students in job training for their future careers. Mr. Hanson later worked with elementary students at the Anthony V. Ceres School where he taught second and third grade and as an Intervention teacher. Mr. Hanson completed his teaching career at the James J. Flynn Elementary School as an Intervention teacher and then a Kindergarten teacher. He was always researching new beneficial educational strategies to help his students. He was instrumental in assisting his colleagues by researching best practices so that they in turn could assist their students and help them attain their highest educational potential. He was truly a teacher to teachers that was loved and admired by all who had the good fortune of working with him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gloria Marie Levandoski and Andrew Antony Hanson, brother Corey D. Hanson, aunt Janine Gregory and Cousin Celeste Pajak.
He is survived by his sister in-law, Dawn Hanson, niece and nephew, Annmarie and Andrew Hanson, father-in-law, Allan Grohman, brother-in-law, James Grohman and his fiancée, Angelina Forte. All of whom loved him dearly.
He was surrounded by the most amazing friends and coworkers who he held near and dear to his heart. Too many to name individually, he cherished each and every one of them and considered them family. He loved, and lived, the quote: "There are friends, there is family, and then there are friends that become family (unknown.)"
He will always be remembered for his kind and nurturing demeanor, his love of learning and education, and his unwavering Faith.
He is finally at Peace with the Lord.
A viewing at Gustav J. Novak Funeral Home, 419 Barclay Street, Perth Amboy, NJ, will be held Friday, July 12th from 5-8pm.
A Divine Liturgy will be on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at 10:30am at St. Peter and Paul Byzantine Church in Bethlehem PA. Burial will follow at Holy Savior Cemetery in Bethlehem P.A
