Dave Bey, 58, a resident of Surprise, Arizona and native to Burbank, California, passed away on July 12th, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Elsa Bey and his children Mathew, Dominic, Laura, and his granddaughters Riley and Ava.
Dave was born to Belle Toscano and Michael Bey in Los Angeles, California. After high school, he started working as a framer building movie sets. He had a passion for helping others which led him to work as an Emergency Medical Technician for several years and volunteering his free time coaching under privileged children how to play football. To include coaching the Citrus College Owl football team. He later continued pursuing a career in construction for the next 25 years and accomplished the position of a Construction Project Superintendent. His interests included watching college football and UFC, helping others whenever and however he could, coaching football, reading and learning new things, shopping on Amazon, traveling when he could, and listening to music, to name a few.
Those who knew Dave remember him as a genuine and straightforward man, known for his honesty, authenticity, kindness, and his witty jokes.
A memorial service in honor of Dave’s life will take place on August 3rd, 2024, starting at 10:00 AM at Menke Funeral & Cremation Center 12420 N. 103rd Ave, Sun City, AZ 85351.
