DavEtta Lou Hooper, age 74, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away on January 4, 2026, at her home. She was born on March 4, 1951, in Iola, Kansas, to Harry Benton Morgan and June (Barker) Morgan Moxley. DavEtta married Clinton Hooper on April 9, 1971, in Springdale, Arkansas. She worked in production for Tyson Foods and George's Inc. DavEtta loved to sew and quilting and was a very good seamstress. She loved to spend time with her grandbabies and great grandbabies.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Morgan and June Morgan Moxley; her husband, Clinton Hooper; and two brothers, John Morgan and Gerald Morgan.

DavEtta is survived by her son, Charles Hooper and wife Angela of Galena, Missouri; daughters, Caren Grigg and husband Jasper of Springdale, and Marita Morrison and partner Benjamin Abbott of Fayetteville, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Charles Hooper III, Brandon Grigg, Brandy Grimes, Ashley Reed, and Anthony Reed; eight great grandchildren: Charles Hooper IV, Miley Rose Hooper, Clinton Hooper, Jasper Wesley Grigg, Sterling Grimes, Liam Grimes, Xavier Grimes, and Hunter Reed; sisters, Susan Elkins of Missouri, and Kathy Clifton of Carthage, Missouri; brother, Charles Moxley of Kansas City, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas. To leave a tribute, please visit https://www.bernafuneralhomes.com. Arrangements are by Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
