Jimmy Young Obituary
Jimmy was born April 4, 1949, in Lake Providence, Louisiana, to Charles and Vergie Burns Young. He married Doris Jean Gibson on November 9, 1974, in Odessa, Texas. He worked for many years in the oil fields of West Texas as a derrick hand.
Jimmy enjoyed spending time at home, woodworking, playing video games, and being outdoors. He was most content in simple moments, especially in nature.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Jean Young of the home; his son, Jim Young of Fayetteville; his grandson, Jordan Young; his sister, Alma Dunlap; and his nieces, Karen Dumont, Margaret Pelegrin, and Janie Young.
