Mr. David Lee "Dave" Adams was born December 11, 1952 to Alonzo and Anna Lou (Roberts) Adams in Saginaw, Michigan. He passed away on November 30, 2022 at the age of 69 years surrounded by his family.
Dave loved the Lord, He attended Bible college, had boundless knowledge of the bible and the God given gift to quote any scripture by chapter and verse for any situation. He retired from the City of Saginaw and for decades owned and operated an Adult Foster Care Home with his loving wife, Namuli Adams.
Dave had a good heart. He loved to cook, try exotic foods like turkey knuckles and loved hot sauce in all forms. He rose to stardom and was featured in many of Jaymond Lawson, Jr's YouTube videos. He hobbies were fishing, playing chess, listening to music, getting dressed up, church and spending time with family and friends.
He leaves to cherish memories, three sons, Umqokozo (Tomekia) Lawson, Jaymond Lawson, Sr. and Terrance (Miracle) Adams; grandchildren, Jaymond Lawson, Jr., Jay'Mya Lawson, Brianna Williams, Ada'Seny, Qui'Netric Lawson, Khole'i Sherman, Terrance Adams, Jr., Trevon Morris, Quin'tasia Nevitt, Sentoya Walker and Cericka Williams; great-grandchildren, Nyomi Williams, Carter Addison, Trevon Morris, Jr. and Darquavis Curry; sister, Lavion (Carl) Williams; aunts, Annye Roberts and Hazel Roberts; a sisters-in-law, Rosa Lawson, Paulette (Gregory "Frank") Franklin and Zandia M. (Marshal) Shields; brothers-in-law, Willie Lawson III and Mike Lawson; nieces, Stephanie Grandberry, Kimberly Foster, Carlene McNeal and Kelly Beeman including special nieces, Zandia K (DeShawn) Lawson and Gloria (Brandon) Lawson-Holmes; nephew, Jeffry Adams including special nephews, Zen Lawson, Jason Coats, and Carl Williams, Jr.; a host of other special nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friend, Demetria (Wayne) Clark.
Dave was preceded in death by his wife, Namuli Lawson Adams; parents, Alonzo and Anna Lou (Roberts) Lawson; brother, Douglas Adams; sister, Marie Roundtree; uncles, Elijah, Ben and Theatic Roberts; aunt, Pearl Walker; mother and father-in-law, Evelyn and Willie Lawson, Jr.; brothers-in-law, Tryone and Larry Lawson; sister-in-law, Jackie Lawson and special friends, Ricky Willis and Wayne Ramsey.
The family would like to express special thanks to Covenant Medical Center-Cooper, all of his family and friends for the love, support and encouraging words and Evans & Browne's Funeral Home.
Memorial service will take place from 1:00-2:00 PM Friday, December 9, 2022 at Evans & Browne's Funeral Home, 441 North Jefferson Avenue, Saginaw, Michigan 48607. Dr. Willie F. Casey will officiate. Visitation will follow from 2:00-6:00 PM.

I´m sending my most deepest, best and sincere Love, Hugs, Prayers and Strength to my Adams and Lawson Families..Dave, my other Dad since 88-89..I love you immensely and I could fill up every Space on here about all of the Memories and Love we all made and shared but I can´t because my last Bonus Parent isn´t no longer here and the pain is too deep so I´m gonna wrap it up and tell you in the physical form that I love you sooooo much and Thank you for you and Momma Ginny for being accepting me as your Bonus Daughter, keeping me safe, on the positive and amazing Journey of Life, feeding and letting me stay with y´all whenever I wanted to, treating and loving me like y´all birthed Daughter, encouraging, molding while educating and getting at me when I was cutting up when I was at y´all Homes lol and just being there for WHATEVER reasons and no matter Who!!!!! Now I have to find a way to fill this gapping Hole in my Heart when my Everything of You was Kiss Everyone and Rest In Power Dad, love always..Mika aka Salt
