David Michael Adamson

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael, who passed away on the morning of October 26, 2025, from Heart Failure at the Monument Care Center in Bountiful, Utah. He was born on October 1, 1938, to David LaVon and Helen (Nelson) Adamson in Tooele, Utah.

Mike spent his early years in Tooele before moving to Davis County. Mike worked as a Milk Man in his early career. Mike served in the National Guard as a young man. He then made a successful career at Associated Foods for 30 years. After retirement Mike went to work as a Parts Driver for Bountiful Mazda and continued there for nearly 20 years.

Mike met and married the love of his life Betty Burningham on April 11, 1992.

Mike loved to bowl, ride motorcycles, go for long drives, vacations to Mexico and on Cruises with friends and family.

Mike is survived by his wife; Betty, Sons: Randy (Tammy) Adamson and David (Margaret) Adamson. Sister Nancy (Randy) Parker, Bonus Children Bryan Stout and Shellie (Dan) Mathews. His Grandchildren: Cassie Adamson, Nicholas (Kate) Adamson, Bradley (Kenzie Turner) Joshua (Idalis) Mathews, Ian (Liberty) Mathews, Nathaniel Mathews Michael Mathews, Great Grandchildren: Lucas Adamson, Eliora Mathews, Cayden Mathews, Alania Mathews and Olivia Stout. Preceded in death by Grandson Michael Adamson and Granddaughter Makayla Adamson and Bonus Son, Darrin Stout.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West, Bountiful, Utah.
