David Adkins Obituary

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 am Wednesday November 5, 2025, at the Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie. Military Honors will be presented at the end of the service around 12:30pm.
David was born June 17, 1956, in Torrence, California, the son of William and Vivian (Sowers) Adkins. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He worked as an Auto Glass installer for many years and then as a Truck Driver until his retirement.
Survivors include; his wife, Lisa Adkins, Lakewood, CO; one son, Thomas (Cora) Adkins, Lakewood, CO; two daughters, Tammy Adkins, Lakewood, CO, Holly Adkins, Overland Park, KS; five brothers, Bill Adkins, Shawnee, KS, Wes Adkins, Commerce City, CO, Kevin Groom, Wichita, KS, Brian Groom, Wichita, KS, Rick Reynolds, Boseman, MT; four sisters, Vickey Wendt, Kansas City, KS, Janet Shackelford, Branson, MO, Barbara Caswell, Holden, MO, Cathy Goodwin, Topeka, KS; two grandchildren, Brieonna Marie Adkins, Aiden Thomas Adkins; and one great grandchild, Arieonna Christine Lee.
