David Eric Allred, 47 years old, resided in Coden, AL. He was a Loving Husband, Father, Son, and Brother who passed away on July 6, 2024.
David Eric Allred was an affectionate, God-fearing, devoted, and hardworking man who always provided for his family and loved them with all his heart. Born in the small town of Sikeston, MO, he graduated from Lone Jack High School in 1995. David's love for his Country was unwavering, leading him to join the United States Marine Corps in 1996. He served his Country with Honor for 16 years, a service that we all can be proud of.
While serving his country, stationed in Pensacola, FL, at NAS Pensacola, he met the love of his life, Diana Joyce Allred, when he was 20 years old. David and Joyce Married on June 12, 1999. They welcomed to life their only daughter, Skyler Elexis Allred, in March 2002 and their only son, Cole Landon Allred, in September 2006. His children meant the world to him. David and Joyce were married for 25 beautiful years.
While serving in the USMC David was meritoriously promoted to the rank of SSGT. Before his medical separation, he was selected to pin the rank of GYSGT. David's last day of Military service was April 29, 2012. He then worked for Blackwater Correctional Facility. He completed his last watch as a Correctional Officer of 11 years on July 3, 2024.
David found fulfillment in completing his daily household projects for his loving wife, Joyce. He had a deep love for the outdoors, often spending his free time fishing, shooting squirrels from the deck, and tinkering with his Jeep. His adventurous spirit and love for nature were evident in everything he did, and this spirit brought joy to everyone around him.
Surviving members of David Eric Allred are his beloved wife, Diana Joyce Allred; daughter, Skyler Elexis Allred; and son, Cole Landon Allred; future son-in-law, Chandler Elmore; mother and father, Beverly and David Allred; two younger brothers, JT and Curtis Allred; and sisters-in-law, Dana and Tina Allred. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Kaidence Allred, Camden Allred, Kade Allred, Cassadi Allred, Alise Allred, and June Allred; mother and fathers-in-law, Debbie and Dexton Spears and Ronald Whitton.
David had a deep affection for his fur babies Duchess, Whiskey, and Wynnie, treating each one like the valuable family members they were. His compassion and kindness extended not only to his human family but also to his beloved pets.
David's personality brought warmth, joy, and laughter to everyone he encountered, and his passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved him. David exemplified everything it meant to be a providing Father, Husband, Son, and Brother. His Family could not have asked for a better role model. David will be missed every day, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.
There will never be enough words to truly express how amazing David Eric Allred was.
David Eric Allred's Funeral will be held at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 15, 2024. Visitation will start at 10:30 a.m. prior to services. Burial will take place in Barrancas National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. A procession from Faith Chapel Funeral Home North will leave at 1:00 p.m.
