David (Andy) Anderson

January 14, 1938 - December 29, 2024

Columbia, South Carolina - David Earl "Andy" Anderson was born January 14, 1938 in Tabor City North Carolina and on December 29, 2024 heaven gained a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, friend, patriot and child of God. Andy is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty, his daughters and sons-in-law, Roxanne and Jere Loggins, Sherrie and Archie Trawick, five grandchildren, Blake Loggins and wife Logan, Hannah Trawick, Sarah Trawick, Grant Loggins and Liam Trawick. A full obituary is available on the Thompson Funeral home website. Visitation will be January 5, 2025 at Thompson Funeral Home on Leesburg Rd from 3-5. Burial with full military honors will be at 2:00 on January 7, 2025 at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery.

I´m so sorry for your loss. I worked with Andy at Babcock Center years ago. He was the nicest and friendliest person! I didn´t know he passed until now. My thoughts and prayers are with you all
