David Ray Anderson, 62, of Harrisburg, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025.

David was born February 13, 1962 in Wayne County, NC, to the late Norwood Glenn Anderson and the late Joyce Nancy Hinson Anderson.

David was President of Anderson Uniform and spent over 40 + years in the uniform business earning respect and admiration for his work ethic, expertise, and the countless relationships he built over the years.  He enjoyed barbecuing and riding motorcycles. He enjoyed having a garden and had a passion for tractors. Many summers he would spend out in the garden and cool off by the pool afterwards, a passion he passed on to his grandson’s during the summer. Most of all, David was a loving husband, dad, and "Ampy." He adored his grandchildren, who brought endless joy to his life and who will forever cherish the love and wisdom he shared with them.  He will be forever loved and greatly missed.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm - 2:45 pm, Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg. David's Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Pastor Brandon Bowers.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 41 years, Debbie Anderson; daughter, Shannon (Ian) Bittenbender of Mount Pleasant; daughter, Niki (Eric) Miller of Harrisburg; son, Michael (Whitney) Anderson of Concord; brother, Glenn (Sheila) Anderson of Sherrills Ford; bonus daughter, Jennifer (Kevin) Reed of Mooresville; grandchildren, Gabe Anderson, Aubrey Miller, Brantley Anderson, Kinsley Miller, Tripp Anderson, Maverick Anderson and Renee Bittenbender; nieces, Ashleigh and Jessey; nephew, Kody; and many extended family and friends.
