Graveside services for David William Bailey, age 56, of Healdton, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Graham Cemetery. The services are entrusted to the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton.
David was born on August 8, 1969, in Winchester, Kansas, to Mr. Larry D. Bailey and Mrs. Juanita Janette (Thompson) Bailey. He passed away on December 13, 2025, in Healdton, Oklahoma.
Raised in East Texas, David was part of a family dedicated to service, as his father was a minister who moved them to various communities throughout the state. David pursued a career as an apprentice electrician and worked with several companies in the area. On June 16, 1989, he married Sharon K. Young in Healdton, where they built their life together and raised their family. David took great pride in his grandchildren and had a passion for stock car racing, NASCAR, and riding motorcycles.
He is preceded in death by his father, a grandson, Dante Kade; his sister, Tamera Bailey; and his father-in-law, Jerry Young.
David is survived by his wife, Sharon Bailey; his mother, Juanita Bailey; daughters Marissa McReynolds and her husband Jon, Candace Searcy and her husband Phillip, and Lendsey Weaver and her husband David; as well as grandchildren Axel, Aydan, Aariah, Asher Searcy, Conner, Caylee, Samuel McReynolds, and Patrick, Jimmy, Kaytlin, Zaidyn, and Brooklyn Weaver. He also leaves behind his siblings, Michelle Broadnax and Shayne Bailey; adopted children, Heather and Kenny Walker, along with their children Bella, Tuff, Warren, Oakley, and Willow; best friend, Shane Martin; mother-in-law, Donna Young; and a multitude of other family members and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jon McReynolds, Phillip Searcy, David Weaver, Kenny Walker, Brandon Hunt, Allen Hunt, Travis Brittan, and Jason Willingham. Honorary bearers include Shane Martin, Jacob Fore, Shayne Bailey, Justin Martin, and Samantha Jones.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home in memory of David Bailey.
