Alexander Gray Funeral Home of HealdtonScott Leroy Miner, 43, of Healdton, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Scott was born on November 12, 1982, in Salmon, Idaho, and spent the majority of his life as a resident of Texas. He was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, brother, and fun-loving uncle, known for his infectious laugh, huge smile, and ability to light up any room. His easygoing nature and playful humor will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He was the best friend to both of his brothers and truly was the "fun uncle." No matter what he was going through, you were always greeted with a huge, beautiful smile. His passing leaves his family truly lost. Scott spent most of his professional life working in various types of construction. Outside of work, he loved nothing more than cooking out with friends and family, and he had absolutely mastered grilling steaks. A passionate football fan, he always enjoyed watching the game, a love that started when he played peewee football and later in middle school in Granbury, TX.
Above all, Scott truly lived for his wife and children, who were the absolute center of his world. He loved nothing more than hosting a tea party with his daughter or throwing the ball and playing with his son, Jaxon. He was fiercely protective of everyone he loved and would go to any lengths to ensure the family's safety.
Scott is survived by his beloved wife, Meagan Miner, their daughter, Shelby, and son, Jaxon. He also leaves behind his daughter, Ariana, from a previous relationship. He is also survived by his mother, Kathy Miner; his grandfather, Roy Brown; his brother, Kenneth Miner and wife Heather, along with nephews Austin, Aidan, and Rowdy Miner; and his brother, Ross Miner and wife Brittany, along with nieces Mandy and Chloee, and nephew Zane Miner. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who were touched by his generous heart.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, James Miner; his grandparents, Minnie Belle and Scott Eubanks; his grandfather, Kenneth Miner; his grandmother, Pat Unger; and his uncles, Harlin Brown, Randy Brown, and Ross Miner; and his aunt Yvonne.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Healdton, OK.
