David Bardin Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 15, 2025.
David Alan Bardin, born on June 2, 1948, in Minneapolis, MN, passed away on March 12, 2025. He was a man whose dedication, loyalty, and love knew no bounds. A shining example of thoughtfulness and warmth, he lit up the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. Whether he was embarking on adventures with his family-kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, or, in his younger years, skiing with his daughter-or exploring with friends on his annual Boundary Waters canoe trips, David knew how to make every experience special. Professionally, David devoted the majority of his career to life insurance sales, where he earned a reputation for his ability to simplify even the most complex policies. His clients trusted him not only for his expertise but for his sincerity and honesty, which shone through in every interaction.
David leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, generosity, and kindness-most notably through his family, his greatest joy. He is survived by his cherished soul mate, Jane Bardin; his devoted daughter, Anne (David) Wardleworth; and three beloved granddaughters, Sadie, Libby, and Ruthie, each of whom held a special place in his heart. David was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ruth Bardin, whose values of integrity, compassion, and resilience shaped the man he became. In retirement, he enjoyed the sunshine and warmth of Clearwater, Florida where he remained steadfast in his devotion to those he loved, living each day with purpose and a commitment to making the world around him better.
A service to honor David's remarkable life will be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Monday, March 17th, 2025 at Temple Israel Memorial Park at 2 pm. In keeping with Jewish tradition, a Shiva will be observed to give friends and family the chance to come together, share stories, and celebrate David's memory at Oak Ridge Country Club at 4:30 pm. As we bid farewell to David, we remember his loving nature, his loyalty, his boundless thoughtfulness, and his unwavering devotion to family and friends. We invite you to visit his memorial page, where you can leave memories, upload photos, and share your tributes to a man who touched so many lives. David's story is best told through the hearts of those who loved him, and we welcome you to join in the celebration of his extraordinary life.

David was like a father to me. I called him my Soul Dad. He´s the purest heart and soul I´ve ever known. All my love and hugs to you Jane, Annie, Dave, Sadie, Libby, and Ruthie. He adored his family and loved life. We all loved and adored him dearly. I just know he already is working on his list of ways he can love us even more from where he is now! He´s simply the best. Xo
