David V. Barnett
David V. Barnett, age 79, of Harborcreek, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024. He was born in Kane, PA on January 3, 1945, son of the late William Barnett and Helny Segerlind Dayton.
David was a veteran of the US Naval Air serving during the Vietnam War. He was employed at General Electric until his retirement in 2002. David was a life member of the American Legion Carl Neff Post 571 and the Wesleyville Athletic Club. He enjoyed shopping, cooking, golfing and bowling at Eastway Lanes. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and Las Vegas Raiders and loved his fur babies.
David is survived by his wife of 28 years, Patricia Barnett; several nieces and nephews and many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. in addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Barnett; and one sister, Kathy Dayton.
Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Wednesday, November 20th, from 4 to 7 pm and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Thursday, November 21st, at 11 am. Interment will follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery with Military Honors rendered by the American Legion Carl Neff Post 571. Memorial contributions may be made to the ANNA Shelter, 1555 East 10th Street, Erie, PA 16510.
