David W. Beachel Sr., 78, of Danville, passed away peacefully with his family by his side and went to be with his Lord Jesus in heaven on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born April 5, 1946 in Lewisburg, he was the son of the late Paul and Jeanette M. (Long) Beachel. On April 3, 1965, he married the love of his life, the former Linda L. Webb, and together they celebrated 59 years of marriage.
David was a self-employed Dairy farmer working on his family farm. He attended church faithfully at God's Missionary Church in New Columbia.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, and the simple things in life. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and his loving wife.
In addition to the love of his life, wife, Linda, he is survived by his four sons: David W. Beachel Jr and Teresa, of Milton, Denis W. Beachel and his wife Melissa, Douglas W. Beachel, and Dallas W. Beachel and his wife Jamie, all of Danville; 13 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his two brothers: Richard Beachel and Paul Beachel Jr.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, February 15th, at God's Missionary Church, 852 Ridge Rd, New Columbia, PA 17856, with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 PM with Pastor Bryan Spangler, officiating. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
