Just before 5pm on Thursday January 2nd 2025, Dave Bertrand took his final breath, peacefully, surrounded by family. Dave was a force to be reckoned with. He loved everyone he cared about with a fiery passion that was unmatched.

Dave is survived by his wife, Nicole (Leitao) Bertrand, and their 9 children - Juliana, Adam, Nick, Ash, Ryan, Thomas, Elizabeth, Becca and Amanda - they are his world. Heather is also survived by his parents - Carolyn and Mark Hardy, his Grandmother - Helene Salisbury, his brother Chris Bertrand, sister-in-law Kimmie Kelley and his nephew Christopher, and his brother Johnathan Hardy. He also has many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and friends he holds dear.

Dave grew up in Arlington, MA and moved to Plymouth as a teenager. He spent the rest of his life around the Cape Cod and South Shore area. Dave was a Finish Carpenter by trade and an avid fisherman. Fishing wasn't just a hobby for him. It was a lifestyle, and an integral part of him. And those people he spent so many days and nights with chasing the bite, they were his family, too.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours from St. John's Church, 2254 Mass Ave, NORTH CAMBRIDGE from 4-7PM on Wednesday January 8th, 2025. Please enter through the main doors on Mass Ave. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St John's Church on Thursday, January 9th, 2025 at 11AM. Burial to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington, MA.
