Brendan G. Trainor

Brendan G. Trainor, age 65, passed away peacefully at his home on January 26, 2026.

He was born in Arlington, Massachusetts, on October 25, 1960, a son of the late Patrick and Tonie Trainor. Raised in Ireland before the family immigrated to Billerica, Massachusetts, Brendan carried the values of hard work and dedication throughout his life.

Brendan was a journeyman electrician with Local Union 103 IBEW and advanced to Master Electrician and Project Manager through his dedication and skill. For over 20 years prior to his retirement, he earned a Master of Science in Engineering and a master's degree focused on commercial construction. Brendan was also an Air Force veteran who took great pride in serving his country, a trait he inherited from his father.

He was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Trainor.

Brendan is survived by his longtime partner, Sharon Milan of Barrington, New Hampshire; his children, Eric Trainor and his wife Kira of Sandown, New Hampshire, Caitlin Torres and her husband Jon of Berlin, New Hampshire and Erin Trainor of Berlin, New Hampshire; his sisters, Tara Garmon of Gardner, Massachusetts, and Brea Trainor of Methuen, Massachusetts; his four grandchildren, Johnathan Trainor, Kayla Torres, Anthony Torres, and Giavanna Trainor; as well as nieces and nephews, Meghan Greigtardiff, Christopher Garmon, and P.J. Garmon. He is also survived by many cousins in New York and Ireland.

A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish at St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Interment in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica
