Christopher Michael Trainor

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christopher Michael Trainor, who departed this life on Thursday, February 19, 2026, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, at the age of 36. Born on Wednesday, June 7, 1989, in Warren, Michigan, Christopher was a cherished son, nephew, cousin, and friend who filled the lives of those around him with joy and laughter.

Christopher was a skilled metal fabricator, dedicated to his work in the security fencing industry. His meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and clients alike.

A lover of the great outdoors, Christopher found solace and adventure in activities such as boating, fishing, and hunting. He was never happier than when he was camping, surrounded by the warmth and companionship of his friends. Known for his competitive spirit, he delighted in a friendly game of horseshoes and was an avid gamer, spending countless hours immersed in video games with friends far and wide.

Christopher leaves behind his devoted parents, Patrick and Leslie (Roe) Trainor, who cherished him deeply. He is also survived by his uncles, Kevin (Rita) Roe and John Hunt, mourning the loss alongside many beloved cousins and a wide circle of dear friends who will forever remember his kindness, humor, and adventurous spirit. Additionally, he will be missed by his dear companion; Tracy Moore.

He was preceded in death by his Aunts; Linda (the late Dennis) Richard and Janet Hunt.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation on Friday, February 27th, from 3-8 p.m. at the Wasik Funeral Home, Gendernalik Chapel, located at 35259 23 Mile Rd., New Baltimore. An additional visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28th, starting at 10 a.m., until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. Following the service, Christopher will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery.
