Irene M. Presbey

Irene M. Presbey, age 91, of Fair Haven, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Born on March 20, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan, Irene was the cherished daughter of Henry and Sophie Dombrowski.

Irene was the beloved wife of the late Harry Presbey (2007). Together, they shared a beautiful life filled with love and laughter. She was a devoted mother to Gail Presbey and Bruce (Tina) Presbey. Irene loved her grandchildren, Aaron (Amanda) Richard, Matthew (Amber) Presbey, Cody Presbey, and Riane Presbey. Her legacy of love continues through her great-grandchildren, Lyla, Landon, and Cienna.

Irene's life was also graced by her dear sister, Monica Dombrowski (who many know as "Auntie").

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Irene's life during a visitation on Friday, February 20, 2026, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Wasik Funeral Home – Gendernalik Chapel, located at 35259 23 Mile Road, New Baltimore.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, with an instate period at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Queen of Creation Church, 50931 Maria, New Baltimore.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Irene will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the love she shared with everyone around her. Her presence in the lives of those who knew her was a treasure, and she will be dearly missed.
