David Wayne Booker

David Wayne Booker, age 67, of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025. David was surrounded by his family, who loved him dearly and held his hand through it all. Over the past two years, David fought a hard battle with cancer and never gave up. Unfortunately, the cancer ultimately took its toll, but we take comfort in knowing that he received the ultimate prize in the end. Though he's no longer with us, we find peace in knowing he is with our Lord Jesus and is no longer suffering.
David is preceded in death by his father, T.A. Booker, and his grandparents on both his mother's and father's sides. He is deeply missed by his mother, Polly Booker; his brother, Richard Booker; his daughter, Nicole (Brian) Wittmer; and his son, Cody (Stephanie) Beeler. His grandchildren, who will miss him so much, are Carmen (James) Jones, Britton, Kyleigh, Aubree, Addalyn, Boston, Amelia, Mason, and Leland. He is also survived by his great-grandson, Oakley.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 8th, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Holston Baptist Church 1012 Andrew Johnson Hwy in Strawberry Plains with a Celebration of Life service to begin at 7:00 PM with Pastor Toby Downey officiating. Family and friends will meet on Friday, May 9th, at 11:00 AM at Eastview Memorial Gardens for the graveside service. Pallbearer honors will be provided by Brian Wittmer, Matt Neubert, James Jones, Britton Reyes, Stanley Jackson, and Eric France. Fielden Funeral Home is honored to serve the Booker family.
