David Wayne Boseman

Greenville - David Wayne Boseman, 64, born in Norfolk Va, passed on February 1, 2026 at ECU Health Medical Center.

David proudly served in the United States Army Reserve (USAR) Range Control, specializing in combat weapons. He took pride starting his career as an equipment operator with Martin Marietta Rock Quarry and continued on the path to a heavy equipment operator with other companies, as long as his health allowed. He lived in various places throughout his life such as Plainfield, NJ, Austin, TX, and Opelika, AL. David loved spending time with family and friends on Lake Martin in Alabama. He enjoyed camping, cooking, music, movies, and comedies. His faith in Christ was unwavering.

David is reunited with his family that's gone before, parents, Brooks and Janet Boseman; brothers, John and Timothy Boseman; and nephew, Darrell Boseman.

David is survived by his daughter, Dawn Boseman of Farmville; brother, Jeff Boseman (Rita) of Bethel; sister, Susan Lester (Eddie) of Winterville; nephews, Danny, Nick, Joey, and Cameron; nieces, Tiffany, Kimberli, and Charity; great niece, London; his Uncle Frank, whom he had great admiration for; and numerous special aunts and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
