David Wayne Bowlin was born in Martinez, California on December 3rd, 1959 to parents Doris and Robert Bowlin.
Raised in California and then moved to numerous places throughout his life, including; Texas and Nevada. He fell in love with Nevada where he lived for much of his life. David settled on a career of driving the biggest trucks on the highway as a long-haul truck driver, seeing the states and highways as he went along his way.
David eventually met the love of his life, Julie. He is preceded in death by his wife, Julie Bowlin, who passed in 2009.
He is survived by his parents, Doris and Robert Bowlin, his brother Mark Bowlin and his wife Lorie Robinson, his sister Linda McGaugh and her husband Greg McGaugh. His two sons; Tom Bowlin and his wife Katie, and their children; Christopher Bowlin and his wife Jennifer, and their children.
David has four grandchildren; Gabriel, Achilles, Braden and Abby. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
David, enjoyed motorcycles and riding. In his younger years he enjoyed a fishing rod in his hands and his music playing loud. He had a great sense of humor and quick wit. But most important he loved his family.
David will be missed by his family and will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him. Our memories and love of our son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend to many in his life, will always be treasured.
