David Lynn Bratton, 70, beloved husband, father and grandfather died Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 27, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor David Buffaloe officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Monday from 12:00 noon until time of the services at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. David was born on July 22, 1955 in Columbia, TN to the late Clarence Sam Bratton and the late Bernice Brown Bratton. He is a long time employee of Value Point Solutions in the shipping and receiving department where he had specialized for thirty years. He loved to hunt, fish and most of all spoiling his grandchildren. David was an excellent handyman and was loved by all who worked with him. He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Judy Remelle Malugin Bratton; daughter Amanda (Corey Webster) Bratton; grandchildren, Aveah Webster and Caelus Webster; nephews, Kelly Ray (Shannon) Bratton, Levi Bratton and Sam Bratton; cousins, Kay (Jerry) Corvin, Dennis (Betty Jo) Turner and Pam Turner.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Christie Lynn Bratton; brothers Michael Edward Bratton, Terry Lane “Turtle” Bratton, Steven Ray “Brody” Bratton.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Malugin, Dennis Malugin, Joey Allen, Kelly Bratton, Levi Bratton, and Sam Bratton. Honorary pallbearers will be Kay and Jerry Corvin, Betty Jo and Dennis Turner, Pam Turner and friends and coworkers at Value Point Solutions.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to all of the Bratton/ Malugin family that has helped during this most difficult time.
